Wine Tasting in Eger, Hungary

Start Here

Welcome! Happy to have you here. Make yourself at home.

If this is your first time here and you're not sure how to navigate through the blog, you've come to the right place.

I left the office in 2017 so that I could be closer to my girlfriend fiancé wife, Joanna. The international long distance relationship wasn't sustainable, so I packed my bags and left LA. I sold a bunch of stuff, minimized my expenses, and slowly built my online income.

And as a result, an entire new world opened up to me.

My mission here is to share my new life with you and show you that it is possible to live life on your own terms. My hope is to inform, educate, entertain and inspire you to take the next steps in your own life.

Speaking of next steps (how's that for a transition?), here are a few steps you can take to get you started on your own journey today.

Step 1: Get to Know Me

Taiwan gives you wings

If you’re wondering just who I am and why the heck you should read what I have to say, check out my ABOUT page to read my background story and how I got to this point.

My current projects are always listed on the NOW page.

Also, feel free to CONTACT ME and introduce yourself. I won't bite. Pinky swear.

Step 2: Be a Part of the Community

Receive new blog posts about living life on your own terms, travel updates, plus all kinds of other goodies sent straight to your in-box.

Step 3: Learn Something New

The BLOG is broken down into 4 major categories: Personal Development, Family and Friends, Personal Finance, and Travel and Adventure.

They are my 4 pillars of living life on my own terms. All 4 pillars are intertwined. Think of them as 4 legs to a table. If you take one away, the other three become weaker, and the table is no longer sturdy.

Check out a sample of the most popular blog post for each category:

1. Personal Development

Why I Quit My (Asian) American Dream

2. Family and Friends

Thoughts from My First Oktoberfest

3. Personal Finance

My First Location Independent Income

4. Travel and Adventure

8 Days in Japan - Osaka, Kyoto, Nara

That's all I've got for now. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to let me know. I would love to hear about your stories.
